In the last two decades, the number of journal articles related to the research area of green technology has significantly increased. Makalah ini bertujuan mengkaji strategi untuk menerapkan elemen Islam dalam pembangunan teknologi hijau negara.

Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah analisis kandungan di mana sumber rujukan terdiri daripada artikel jurnal dan data atas talian. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan antara strategi untuk menerapkan elemen Islam boleh dimulakan dengan berfokuskan kepada asas pembangunan teknologi hijau seperti melalui pembiayaan Islam, pengurusan Islam dan amalan garis panduan etika Islam.
